Social Media Assistant
TJH Digital Marketing is seeking a Social Media Assistant to manage and optimize client social media accounts while coaching clients on effective strategies and content execution. The role involves hands-on social media expertise, project management, and opportunities for future leadership growth.

Responsibilities
Optimize and manage client social media accounts, including content planning, posting, hashtags, engagement, and analytics review
Develop content calendars tailored to each client’s niche, goals, and brand identity
Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and propose data-backed improvements
Implement growth strategies such as Reels optimization, story strategy, DM scripts, and engagement boosts
Stay updated with social media algorithm changes, new features, and platform updates
Teach clients how to use social media effectively through 1:1 calls, Loom videos, group sessions, and written guides
Explain platform features, analytics, engagement strategies, and content creation techniques in clear and simple terms
Provide constructive feedback on client content including reels, carousels, captions, and branding
Help clients overcome technical issues and platform misunderstandings
Support clients with mindset and creative coaching where needed (confidence on camera, storytelling, content flow, etc.)
Assist in brainstorming topics, hooks, scripts, and content ideas
Review and refine client reels, images, and copy to align with best practices
Demonstrate how to use editing tools, templates, and mobile workflows
Maintain understanding of trending audio, formats, and industry-specific trends
Help clients establish a consistent brand voice and visual identity on social media
Use prompt engineering to help clients generate: Caption drafts, Video scripts, Content ideas, Carousel outlines
Create AI-powered content workflows, templates, and scripts for clients
Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, image generators, editing assistants) to speed up the content creation process
Teach clients how to use AI for better creativity and efficiency
Candidate should be proficient or able to quickly learn: Notion (task tracking, client dashboards, templates), Google Drive (file management, scripts, content uploads), Slack/Intercom/Kajabi (depending on your internal stack), Scheduling tools (e.g., Metricool, Buffer, Later, etc.), Video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva)
Manage client deliverables from start to finish with clear communication and deadlines
Keep all client tasks, content calendars, and progress tracking updated in Notion
Follow internal SOPs and help create new, improved workflows
Flag bottlenecks early and bring solutions—not problems—to leadership
The right candidate may grow into a leadership role within 6–12 months
Managing a small team of 3–5 social media assistants or editors
Assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring quality of output
Helping hire and onboard new team members
Leading weekly team check-ins and reporting progress to management
Contributing to the development of systems, SOPs, and training assets
Qualification
Required
Deeply familiar with social media algorithms, content creation workflows, and engagement systems
Capable of managing projects from ideation to completion
