Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
Own critical machining operations including threads, keyways, and final tolerance features
Sequence jobs across multiple CNC machines safely and efficiently
Identify and prevent undersize, tool wear, setup drift, and tolerance risk
Support and guide other machinists during setups and troubleshooting
Make stop/go decisions when quality or process risk is present
Communicate clearly with ownership and the team to keep work moving
Qualification
Required
10+ years CNC machining experience in a job shop or industrial environment
Strong CNC programming, setup, and machining skills
Experience with CAM software (Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, EZCAM, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret prints, tolerances, and GD&T
Comfortable owning jobs from print through completion
Preferred
Manual machining experience is a plus
Experience with rotating equipment, shafts, fits, bores, or industrial repair is a plus
