Responsibilities
Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner
Manage billing collections and follow up on outstanding payments
Utilize computerized billing systems to process invoices and reconcile accounts
Verify and update account information to maintain data accuracy
Collaborate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
Monitor accounts for overdue payments and implement collection procedures as necessary
Generate detailed reports on billing activities and account statuses
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during billing operations
Assist in maintaining organized records of billing transactions and correspondence
Provide support for special billing projects as required
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in billing functions, including invoice preparation and payment collection
Familiarity with computerized billing systems and general accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Excellent communication skills for resolving billing issues and interacting with clients
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of billing statements and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting or finance is a plus
