Responsibilities
Lead sourcing and origination of high-conviction investment opportunities across AI infrastructure, foundation models, applied AI, and enabling technologies in the US market
Build and maintain a proprietary pipeline of US-based AI founders, research labs, engineers, and applied-AI operators, while collaborating closely with the global investment team
Conduct rigorous technical and commercial diligence, including assessment of model architectures, data strategies, defensibility, scalability, and monetisation pathways
Develop high-quality investment memos, financial analyses, and thesis-driven research to support investment committee decisions
Work closely with portfolio founders to accelerate product development, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and operational scaling, particularly for US expansion
Represent the firm at US-based AI conferences, research hubs, and industry networks, continuously identifying emerging and breakthrough innovation
Contribute to long-term investment theses on emerging AI trends and frontier technologies, with a focus on the US AI ecosystem
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, AI-focused M&A, or a high-performance AI/ML product or research environment
Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, model ecosystems, data pipelines, and computational infrastructure
Demonstrated experience sourcing, diligencing, or evaluating technically complex investments
Deep network across US-based AI researchers, founders, engineers, and industry operators
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to form independent, thesis-driven investment views
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex technical concepts into clear, structured investment insights
Deep passion for AI and frontier technology, combined with a builder mentality and entrepreneurial approach
