Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance and leadership for Zero Trust architecture

Develop and implement cloud security solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles

Design cloud security event visibility and telemetry

Oversee ICAM technologies and network segmentation

Incorporate OT/IoT security controls

Evaluate and deploy security tools across cloud environments

Lead architecture for SASE, CASB, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and web application security

Required

Able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Experience with multiple hyperscalers: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud (Oracle is a plus)

Hands-on experience designing security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments

Proven experience managing deployments of native cloud applications

Tool configuration in mature cloud environments

Establishing secure cloud environments and roadmaps

Integrating native cloud applications with on-prem systems

Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles

Multi-tenant architecture

Security posture design

SASE, CASB, SIEM, EDR, and other security tools

Preferred

Government experience is not required; candidates from the private sector are encouraged to apply

Must be comfortable working across varying levels of technical understanding and diplomatically navigating challenges

Remote candidates are considered, but onsite presence 1 day per week is required and prioritized

Looking for candidates with strong technical strengths in cybersecurity, especially in cloud security architecture

Certifications in cloud platforms and security are valued, but strong domain knowledge and hands-on experience will outweigh a long list of certifications
