Responsibilities
Developing and overseeing the role of the organization, ensuring accountability, fairness, and transparency across the Board and its subsidiaries
Acting as the sentinel for the company’s public image, managing relations with media, government bodies
Monitoring and influencing the legislative landscape to ensure corporate interests are reflected in law and that all operations remain compliant with evolving standards
Coordinating high-level meetings, managing board calendars, and ensuring that executive decisions are properly documented and implemented
Creating and maintaining the Corporate Governance Manual, Code of Ethics, and Delegation of Authority frameworks
Providing high-level counsel to the Management and Board on reputational risks, public policy trends, and governance best practices
Leading the legal and public response to high-stakes issues, such as regulatory investigations or reputational threats
Overseeing internal audits related to governance and ensuring accurate, timely statutory filings and regulatory disclosures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Law
Passed a US bar exam (optional)
At least 5 years in a senior management capacity
5–10 years in governance, compliance, or corporate affairs
Proven track record in highly regulated industries
Bilingual (Arabic and English) (Not Mandatory)
