Responsibilities
Support and lead parts of the sales process from prospecting and generating opportunities to closure, including lead generation, customer engagement, and proposal development
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the rail and cybersecurity ecosystems
Collaborate with senior team members to identify new opportunities, develop go-to-market plans, and support strategic sales initiatives
Work closely with Cylus’ technical and marketing teams to ensure customer success and consistent messaging
Attend industry events and conferences, helping to expand our presence and network across the North American rail community
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the rail, transportation, or technology sectors
Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and contributing to complex sales cycles
Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-growing, small-team environment
Willingness and ability to travel 25–40% across North America and International travel once a year
Preferred
Existing network or relationships within the rail industry (freight and/or passenger/transit)
Background in technical fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, or cybersecurity
Previous experience in cybersecurity sales or technology partnerships
Experience working within a start-up environment
