5+ years expCoffman Engineers' Dallas office is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Electrical Engineer with five to seven years of experience. The successful individual will be involved in all aspects of electrical systems design and will develop construction documents from project conception to completion.

Responsibilities
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering design and construction experience in the AEC industry required
***Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in Electrical Engineering, required***
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering, preferred
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and general electronic drawing format software is required
Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, etc
Experience with power system analysis software (E-TAP, EasyPower, SKM) is required
Experience with lighting software (AGI, Visual Lighting) is a plus
Experience with medium and/or high voltage systems is a plus
Must be able to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. Government
Ability to travel for site visits
Ability to work independently as well as train others
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks
Desire to learn and work with a team of professionals
Experience with low voltage systems design is a plus
Experience with federal project design is a plus
Contributing to Coffman's marketing and business initiatives as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Qualification
Required
