They are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage various accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Perform a range of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Maintaining compliance with grant requirements
Processing payroll
Reconciling accounts
Assisting with audits or budget preparation
Collaboration with internal teams
Adherence to accounting standards
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, budget preparation, and financial analysis
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Familiarity with grant compliance and nonprofit accounting standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other standard office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and meet deadlines effectively
Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
Preferred
CPA certification or equivalent is desirable
