Responsibilities
You’ll be the lead for Cerner Bridge Medical, ensuring that barcode medication administration (BCMA), specimen collection are rock solid
You will refine Clinical Patient Care Management (PCM) workflows—everything from iView and PowerForms to dynamic documentation and clinical task lists
When the frontline staff hits a wall with the system, you’re the one who dives into Bedrock or DCPTools to find the fix
Ensuring that the 'Positive Patient Identification' (PPID) workflows actually prevent errors without creating 'alert fatigue' for the clinical team
Working closely with hospital IT teams and clinical leadership to validate builds and lead remote testing sessions
Qualification
Required
Years of experience with the build tools (Bedrock, CoreEventManager, etc.)
Specifically owned the Bridge and PCM modules in at least 2–3 full-lifecycle implementations or major optimizations
Come from a clinical background (RN or Informatics) or have spent enough time in hospitals to understand acute care workflows
Ability to communicate with both software engineers and Chief Nursing Officers
