Responsibilities

Performs routine visual inspection of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items

Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues

Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling

Conducts Internal audits and corrective action follow ups

Inspecting wires, sensors such as force sensors, pressure sensors, etc. using ring gauges, calipers, torque ranges, micrometers, and other tools

Required

2 – 5 years of experience

Mechanical and technical skills

Strong attention to detail

Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment

Experience with blueprints, drawings and parts lists

Familiar with the casting, forging, molding, stainless-steel and electronic components used in Aerospace industry

Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, as well as Aero Space Standards like AS9100 used on aviation, space and defense organizations

Experience with all types of inspection tools like: Gauges, calipers, height gages, pin and block gages, V-blocks surface inspection tables, micrometers, and comparators

Experience in performing internal audits based on established criteria and records the results

Experience with interpreting engineering drawings using the language of Geometrical

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
