Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP modules

Support system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates under the guidance of senior administrators

Monitor system performance and report issues to senior team members

Perform routine database backups, restores, and basic optimization tasks for SAP systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA)

Support database security and integrity measures as directed

Assist in managing user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems

Support the implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data

Collaborate with senior team members to diagnose and resolve SAP system issues, including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems

Provide first-level technical support to end-users and escalate complex issues as needed

Use monitoring tools to assist in tracking system health and performance (e.g., Solution Manager)

Prepare basic reports on system usage, performance metrics, and incidents

Work closely with senior administrators, functional teams, and developers to support business requirements

Communicate progress and updates to team members and stakeholders effectively

Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures

Follow established best practices for SAP Basis administration
