Responsibilities
Execute cybersecurity and cryptologic functions to protect classified data and operational systems
Analyze cyber threats to identify weaknesses, assess risk, and recommend countermeasures
Support implementation and sustainment of defensive cyber capabilities
Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and assist with incident response and reporting
Perform system and network administration tasks, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Coordinate with service desk and enterprise support organizations to resolve technical issues
Integrate cybersecurity best practices into intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance activities
Ensure compliance with applicable security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years of relevant analytical experience, with some experience gained within the past 2 years
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or
Associate degree with an additional 4 years of related experience (totaling 10 years) in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity operations, cryptologic support, and system or network administration
Working knowledge of cyber defense tools, incident response processes, and network security principles
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
Ability to perform effectively in a mission-critical, high-tempo environment
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
Preferred
Background supporting Air Force or other military intelligence organizations
Familiarity with cryptologic platforms, tools, and analytic methodologies
Knowledge of Air Force cybersecurity directives and operating procedures
Industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or comparable credentials
Completion of recognized military, government, or commercial cybersecurity training programs
Experience coaching or mentoring junior analysts
