Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses
Develop relational database solutions for structured and unstructured data
Implement cloud-based analytics solutions (Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks)
Optimize database performance, reliability, and scalability
Ensure data solutions meet security standards (NIST, DISA STIG)
Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployments, and production operations
Create clear technical documentation and data models
Collaborate in an Agile development environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience
5+ years working with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
Strong experience with ETL, data ingestion (batch & streaming), and data modeling
Cloud experience, preferably Azure-based data platforms
Experience supporting enterprise web applications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to obtain or hold an active Secret (or higher) clearance
Preferred
Experience with large-scale system modernization
Hybrid or multi-cloud data architectures
High-volume, highly available, secure data systems
Familiarity with ML/AI-enabled analytics
