Project Management Officer
Imagineers Group is a boutique consulting firm working with a core set of clients in finance and other sectors. They are seeking Project Management Officers to help build and track a complex portfolio in the credit card domain, focusing on roadmap tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Tracking the Portfolio roadmap, managing a 1-N list of projects across various functions
Soliciting program updates from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project owners
Following up on any critical blockers, risks, or issues to ensure timely resolution
Ensuring regular updates are maintained on Smartsheet and other designated tracking tools
Setting up and conducting weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly sessions with SMEs and leadership to report on progress and address issues
Holding 'change management sessions' to ensure appropriate documentation and tracking for any changes or additions to the roadmap
Reporting these changes to Senior Management for approval
Qualification
Required
Strong project management skills
Proficiency in project and portfolio tracking
Experience with Smartsheet and/or MS Project
Expertise in JIRA
General knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with testing, bug resolution, communications, and reporting
Preferred
Previous experience in managing, tracking, reporting, and communicating a large SDLC portfolio, particularly for a credit card issuer
A base knowledge of consumer finance
