Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Incab America is seeking a Northeast Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts across the Northeast and Southeast United States. The role involves building customer relationships, managing sales activities, and ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction in the Fiber Optic Cable Market.

Responsibilities
Deliver a high-level positive experience in all customer interactions
Interact frequently with customers to interpret their needs and requirements and present these to inside sales, engineering, production, operations, and management
Establish relationships with customers and outside manufacturing representatives (OMRs) that ensure high customer satisfaction, positive long-term relationships, and repeat business
Work closely with the VPS, IAL management and staff, and IAL’s OMRs to ensure that IAL is a qualified bidder for fiber optic cables at all major electric utilities in their assigned region of the USA
Work closely with the VPS, sales support staff, and OMRs to ensure that IAL responds to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) in a thorough, timely manner
Plan and effectively organize sales calls, be accountable for a sales quota, and grow relationships throughout the client from the top to bottom
Obtain feedback on quotations and proposals to identify trends in market pricing and opportunities for improvement in IAL responses
Provide oversight and management of IAL’s network of OMRs in their assigned region of the USA including establishing and updating MR contracts; identifying and recruiting new OMRs in western areas where needed; training OMRs; and recommend terminating OMRs where appropriate
Maximize sales in assigned territory by identifying opportunities to gain new customers while expanding existing business to achieve planned sales goals
Make presentations to customers, OMRs, and distributors
Act as liaison or go-between among IAL, OMRs, and customers to maintain good relationships and resolve complaints or disputes
Assist in collection of overdue Accounts Receivable from customers
Provide basic technical assistance and devise unique product solutions
Assist in preparing sales forecasts and budgets for assigned territory
Assist the VP Sales and President in developing annual sales goals and objectives
Participate in industry tradeshows as assigned by the VPS
Other duties as assigned by the VPS
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or 3 years' experience in the field or related area required
Proven track record in sales, including the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
A dynamic personality; winning, “can do” attitude; and self-motivation are required
Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned portion of the USA up to 50% of time
Strong organizational and relationship-building skills are essential
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic editing programs
Preferred
2-5 years' experience in investor-owned utilities or electrical coops
