Accounts Payable Analyst

LHH is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to assist in the monthly AP close process and manage a high volume of invoices. The role involves maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting operational workflows.

Responsibilities

Participate in the monthly AP close process according to established close deadlines
Maintain a 24‑hour turnaround time on emails and inquiries
Process a high volume of invoices, including:
2‑way PO
3‑way PO
Non‑PO invoices
Follow up on invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies
Retrieve invoices from various online vendor portals
Build and maintain vendor relationships; resolve issues promptly
Audit expense reimbursement exceptions in the T&E platform to ensure compliance with company policy
Respond to employee T&E inquiries and reinforce policy compliance to reduce non‑compliant submissions
Prepare monthly AP and T&E accruals and reconciliations as assigned
Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to support smooth operational workflow
Help maintain accurate and current desktop procedures
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX controls, and internal policies and procedures
Communicate effectively (oral & written) across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Support ad‑hoc projects as needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5+ years of Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense experience
Strong sense of urgency and customer‑service mindset
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong vendor‑relationship capabilities
Ability to analyze data workflows, identify root causes, and maintain accountability and compliance
Experience with ERP systems and T&E platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Concur, Navan)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related accounting applications
Strong communication skills and ability to manage shifting priorities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills
