Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day executive leadership and operational oversight of the practice, ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and core values of NWMS
Partner with the CEO to develop, execute, and monitor strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, patient access, care quality, and long-term growth and profitability
Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, shared vision, and decision-making
Foster a success-oriented, values-aligned culture that drives accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a relentless focus on patient-centered care
Oversee all non-physician operational functions, including clinical operations, infusion services, pharmacy coordination, scheduling, staffing models, and patient flow optimization
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care through standardized processes, evidence-based practices, and continuous performance improvement
Lead the development and implementation of operational infrastructure, systems, workflows, and staffing plans to support organizational objectives and growth
Collaborate with physician leadership to identify operational needs, remove barriers to care delivery, and enhance provider satisfaction and productivity
Design, implement, and sustain comprehensive quality management and performance improvement programs that meet or exceed regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
Utilize data, analytics, benchmarking, and best practices to measure, assess, and improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness
Partner with clinical, administrative, and physician leaders to plan, promote, and execute organization-wide quality and performance initiatives
Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, hospital partnership agreements, payer requirements, and internal policies
Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting to the CEO and leadership team on operational performance, key metrics, trends, risks, and opportunities
Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle optimization, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives
Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights to support informed executive and physician decision-making
Serve as a key operational liaison with hospital partners, ensuring alignment with joint initiatives, service agreements, care coordination, and shared performance goals
Collaborate with external entity leadership to optimize integration of services, improve patient transitions of care, and support strategic alignment
Represent the practice in external operational discussions with hospitals, vendors, and strategic partners as delegated by the CEO
Build, lead, and sustain a high-performance management team through effective recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
Identify organizational leadership gaps and attract, recruit, and retain top operational and administrative talent
Establish mentoring and professional development as core components of the management and leadership development strategy
Actively promote and model NWMS’s mission, vision, and values internally and externally
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO and physician leadership

Required

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field required; equivalent combination of advanced education and healthcare leadership experience may be considered
Minimum of 10 years of senior-level leadership experience within a healthcare delivery organization, with demonstrated accountability for multi-department operations, financial performance, and strategic execution
Proven experience leading complex clinical operations, preferably within oncology, hematology, multispecialty, or physician-led practice environments
Demonstrated success in partnering with physician leaders and hospital or health system stakeholders to align clinical, operational, and financial objectives
Strong background in healthcare operations, including quality improvement, regulatory compliance, performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making
Experience overseeing or closely collaborating with key functions such as revenue cycle, clinical operations, patient access, staffing models, and practice growth initiatives
Track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing management teams in a complex healthcare environment
Ability to manage a multitude of emotional situations
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Travels/Works from various clinic locations as needed
