The Associate Attorney will manage personal injury cases from pre-suit through litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and appearing in court, while collaborating with clients and experts to advance cases effectively.

Responsibilities

Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses under the supervision of senior attorneys

Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on liability, damages, and procedural issues

Handle pre-suit investigations, reviewing accident reports, medical records, and insurance documents

Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather facts, and explain legal processes

Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters

Attend and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and medical providers

Make court appearances for hearings, status conferences, and motions

Assist with trial preparation, including witness outlines, exhibit lists, and jury instructions

Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court orders and firm protocols
