They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team serving high-net-worth individuals and private businesses, responsible for reviewing complex returns, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities
Oversee and review preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client outcomes
Supervise and train a team of 4 - 6 accountants and staff
Prepare book-to-tax adjustments, tax provision schedules, and ensure proper documentation
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and internal firm standards
Liaise directly with clients to resolve complex tax issues and deliver clear, strategic advice
Support MA and entity-structure analyses when required
Continuously improve firm templates, systems, and workflow processes
Manage busy season deadlines while balancing client expectations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and tax compliance
Current or prior experience as a Tax Supervisor or Tax Manager
Advanced proficiency in CCH Axcess and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Demonstrated client management and review experience
Preferred
EA or CPA license preferred
Master's in Taxation or related graduate degree preferred
Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses preferred
Strong familiarity with complex, multi-entity tax structures preferred
