Responsibilities
Drafting pleadings
Drafting motions
Drafting interrogatories and requests for production
Drafting answers to interrogatories and responding to discovery requests
Document review and management of responsive document production
Drafting demand letters and various communications
Legal Research
Experience and ability in assisting with drafting of legal briefs is a plus
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' true litigation paralegal experience
Ability to autonomously complete various substantive litigation tasks under supervision
Strong communication skills
Strong writing skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Strong time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
Familiarity with working in various areas of the New Jersey Superior Court
Significant experience with complex electronic filing (e-courts)
Experience with MS Office, specifically MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to think and work independently
Preferred
Experience and ability in assisting with drafting of legal briefs
Experience with appeals
Experience with Federal Court
