Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL)
Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of infrastructure for reliability and efficiency
Integrate Terraform with Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration across cloud and on-prem environments
Use Terraform for managing resources like compute, storage, and networking; apply Ansible for post-provisioning configuration, application deployments, and security hardening
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployments, enhance scalability, performance, and reliability
Monitor cloud environments, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues
Implement cloud security best practices, compliance, and risk management
Conduct security testing, code reviews, and contribute to architectural designs and technical documentation
Stay current with tools, technologies, and advise on secure coding practices
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI clearance
Current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification
8-10+ years experience with BS/BA; 6-8+ years with MS/MA; or 3-5+ years with PhD
Proven experience in software engineering and integrating Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products
Strong Ansible specialization for automation, configuration management, deployment, and orchestration
Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
Native or bilingual English proficiency
