The role involves overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring general ledger integrity, and acting as a key business partner within the finance team.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
Review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations across multiple entities
Oversee daily cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and liquidity forecasting
Prepare and maintain debt schedules, including interest calculations, covenant tracking, and lender reporting
Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for private equity sponsors and senior leadership
Serve as a primary point of contact during annual external audits
Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and workpapers
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices
Mentor and develop junior accounting staff; provide leadership in a collaborative, high-growth environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA highly preferred
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
Strong analytical skills with a process-improvement mindset
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment with multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth multi-entity environment preferred
