Responsibilities
Supporting field investigations (soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water). Includes coordination of field events, soil characterization and field screening, oversight of monitoring well installations and abandonments, annual groundwater monitoring, oversight of soil and groundwater remediation activities, collection of waste characterization samples, and oversight of demolition projects
Providing office support for projects, including supporting the preparation of permits, work plans, and technical reports
Qualification
Required
0-3 years of relevant experience in environmental or site remediation work, including exposure to sampling plans, field investigations, and technical report writing (internships and academic field experience welcome)
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field
A self-motivated, collaborative team player who is eager to learn and grow
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort traveling to remote sites, including by small aircraft, helicopter, and/or four-wheelers
A strong commitment to safety and following established field protocols
Ability to obtain required security clearances for work on active military installations
Capacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing field conditions
Willingness to work extended hours during the field season as projects require
