OST, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Engineer to provide engineering and technical execution support for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS). The role involves ensuring systems meet operational training requirements and collaborating with various engineering teams to improve system performance and training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Supporting engineering analyses of TADSS capabilities

Assisting with development and review of technical requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and system documentation

Supporting system integration activities across hardware, software, networks, and training enablers

Participating in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and working groups to identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure technical alignment with objectives

Supporting test and evaluation activities

Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting

Supporting configuration and change management activities

Contributing to development of technical reports, briefings, and acquisition artifacts

Collaborating closely with systems engineers, test engineers, military doctrine analysts, acquisition analysts, logisticians, and leadership to ensure technical solutions effectively support Army training outcomes

Providing practical, hands-on engineering insight and recommendations to improve system performance, interoperability, maintainability, and training effectiveness across portfolios

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting engineering or technical activities within a DoD, Federal, or defense training environment

Demonstrated experience with Technical analysis and system support

Demonstrated experience with Integration or test support for training systems or TADSS

Demonstrated experience with Technical documentation and reporting

Demonstrated experience with Coordination with engineering, acquisition, and program teams

Active Secret Clearance

Preferred

Familiarity with TADSS development, integration, or sustainment

Familiarity with Systems engineering lifecycle processes

Familiarity with Test & Evaluation support for training systems

Prior military or Army training systems experience
