Responsibilities
The sampling position would include sampling all raw material and packaging components in several warehouses
The raw material sampling would include materials that are used in the cosmetic and home care products at Amway as well as materials that are used in the food industry including allergens
The packaging components would be sampled in the warehouse and this would include inspecting the shipment for defective components
The materials that are sampled are logged in the QA data system where sampling data is entered
The samples are then delivered to the respective labs including micro, chemistry and packaging
This is NOT a QA laboratory job but may lead to opportunities to gain laboratory experience
Qualification
Required
Raw material samplers must wear shoes with full leather uppers
A valid State of Michigan driver's license. Candidate will be driving around complex
Basic computer skills
Preferred
Science background or science degree is preferred but not required
