New GradInside Higher Ed is seeking a Resident Assistant (RA) for Conferences & Events to support the planning and execution of summer conferences and events. The RA will provide exceptional customer service to guests and assist with logistics and communication to enhance the overall guest experience during a temporary 10-12 week position.

Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for guests, providing information, directions, and support as needed throughout their stay
Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, including room assignments, key distribution, and billing
Monitor guest behavior and ensure compliance with policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all guests
Collaborate with the Conference & Events team to ensure seamless execution of events, including room set-up, audiovisual support, and catering services
Provide timely and effective communication with guests, staff, and vendors to ensure successful event planning and execution
Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, common areas, and event spaces
Participate in required training sessions and team meetings and attend to other duties as assigned by the Conference & Events management team
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
Have sensitivity of intercultural communication, and good interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail oriented
Dependable
Preferred
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or event planning is preferred but not required
