Responsibilities
Conducting research in High Temperature Superconducting magnet technology driving the highest possible fields with superconducting magnets
Continuation of our successful Litle Big Coil program which recently set a world record DC field of 48.7 Tesla
Modeling electromechanical properties of conductors and coils
Building and testing those coils under extreme operating conditions near or at their failure points
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
