Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

They are seeking a forward-thinking and passionate Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to provide technical solutions for their commercial, FED-CIV, and SLED sales, contributing to high-impact projects across North America.

Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery, solution design, and the development of clear technical architectures for Federal, SLED, and commercial pursuits, ensuring alignment with customer missions and ExeQut's service offerings
Assess needs, deliver demos, technical briefings, and proofs of concept to differentiate ExeQut in competitive pursuits
Author and review proposal technical volumes or statements of work, ensuring compliance and clarity
Support refinement of the U.S.-facing service offerings and capability materials
Serve as a credible technical presence in partner engagements and early-stage customer discussions
Contribute to lead generation efforts, nurture relationships, and identify new business opportunities
Partner with the Sales to qualify leads, generate proposals and technical narratives, and secure new contracts
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in AI, data engineering, and enterprise data solutions to keep ExeQut ahead of the curve
Track sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools
Qualification
Required
5+ years of technical experience in multiple technology domains like Software Development, DevOps, Data & AI solutions
2+ years of experience in pre-sales, business development, consulting
5+ years in solution architecture, engineering, or technical consulting
Experience working with enterprise-level clients in Fed-civ, SLED and/or regulated industries in North America
Strong understanding of: cybersecurity, cloud transformation, identity management, AI/ML
Proven ability to deliver successful presentations to prospective clients; ability to present technical concepts clearly to both executive level and technical audience
Experience with proposal writing, compliance, and procurement requirements
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and partner teams
Strong negotiation skills
Fluency in spoken and written English

The ideal candidate is based in the metropolitan Washington, DC area
They are expected to travel as needed to client sites and to our offices in Maryland and Virginia
