Responsibilities
Manage residential and commercial first-party property insurance claims
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and evaluate case strategy
Communicate directly with clients on case progress and legal recommendations
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for hearings, mediation, and trial
Stay organized with deadlines, case updates, and internal workflows
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of experience in first-party property insurance litigation
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery
Confident advising clients and managing case strategy
Settlement negotiation experience
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Texas Bar license (or pending admission)
Ability to work full-time, on-site in San Antonio
Preferred
First-party bad faith litigation
Personal injury litigation experience
