Responsibilities
Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in accordance with SOPs
Process and analyze clinical specimens with precision and attention to detail
Conduct and document quality control, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance
Prepare reagents and maintain adequate laboratory supply inventory
Identify and troubleshoot testing or operational issues using good laboratory practices
Support validation of new equipment, assays, and procedures
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laboratory regulations
Participate in quality audits, inspections, and continuing education
Collaborate effectively with laboratory team members and leadership
Meet productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and attendance expectations
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or equivalent accredited training
Completion of required semester hours in chemistry, biology, and/or medical laboratory technology
Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Working knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality systems
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive laboratory tasks
Split seated/standing workday in a clinical lab environment
Exposure to biological specimens, chemicals, and laboratory equipment
Willingness to work overtime and travel between laboratory sites as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in clinical, biological, or chemical laboratory science
Experience with molecular biology techniques
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
