Junior Achievement of Utah empowers young people to own their economic success through hands-on learning programs. The JA City Floor Manager plays a vital role in facilitating simulation days, ensuring students have a positive learning experience while supporting volunteers and educators.

Responsibilities

Lead volunteer trainings and provide on-site support during JA City simulation days

Troubleshoot basic technical issues, including computers and printers

Assist with inventory management and supply ordering

Maintain and update school tracking databases

Ensure timely and accurate program registration data is submitted to JA USA

Support updates to curriculum and simulation activities

Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, educators, and JA partners

Assist with special projects and provide general operational support as needed

Required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable presenting to large groups and leading trainings

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Self-motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative team player

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills

Enjoy working with children and teenagers

Physical requirements: Ability to stand or walk for at least 5 hours during simulation days

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
