Responsibilities
Define and Oversee Strategy: Develop and lead world-class mobile user acquisition and retargeting strategies that align with company-wide business objectives and growth targets
Budget & P&L Management: Own and manage large-scale user acquisition budgets, ensuring efficient spend and maximum return on investment (ROI)
Lead Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central hub for mobile UA, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and Data Science teams. Guide the team to translate data into actionable insights and strategic optimizations
Manage Platform Relationships: Foster and nurture high-level relationships with major platform partners (e.g., Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok). Proactively identify and secure alpha/beta testing opportunities to gain a competitive advantage
Drive Strategic Improvements: Partner with data science and analytics teams to improve measurement, reporting, and attribution models. Champion the integration of new technologies and methodologies for automation and operational efficiency
Creative & A/B Testing Leadership: Guide the performance marketing creative strategy, establishing a robust A/B testing framework and ensuring a high-velocity, data-driven approach to creative ideation and production
Trend & Landscape Expertise: Act as the team’s leading expert on current and future mobile advertising trends, from platform changes and privacy regulations to new advertising channels and ad formats
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in mobile user acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
A proven track record of successfully managing and scaling large UA, retargeting, and creative strategies for mobile games or apps
Extensive experience managing significant marketing budgets and a deep understanding of P&L management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team
Expert-level knowledge of the mobile advertising ecosystem, including major platforms (Google UAC, Meta, TikTok), DSPs, and MMPs (Mobile Measurement Partners)
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strategic relationships with major ad partners
A deep understanding of data analysis and a track record of partnering with data science teams to improve models and drive strategic initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex strategies and data insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
