They are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their engineering team, where the role involves structural analysis and design for various infrastructure projects and collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

Design infrastructure such as drainage structures, storage tanks, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment facilities

Collaborate across multiple offices on a wide range of projects for a variety of clients

Support new construction, structural investigations, and rehabilitations/renovations in collaboration with architects and civil, mechanical, electrical engineers

Interpret building codes and standards, prepare structural plans and details, and conduct related construction observations for structural projects

Required

MS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis

Professional Engineering registration

Experience in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design

Knowledge of construction practices and methods

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in structural engineering

RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar Structural Analysis Software experience

Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations

Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

Detail oriented and well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desire to learn and advance in technical skills and understanding

Preferred

Revit experience

Project Management experience and/or Project Management Professional Certification

Experience with review of structural construction

Interest in continued professional development
