Coda Search is partnering with a leading global law firm located in New York, NY. They are seeking a Pricing Analyst to support pricing initiatives, client negotiations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts to optimize profitability and strengthen client relationships.

Responsibilities

Partner with attorneys, finance leadership, and business development to develop and analyze pricing proposals for new and existing clients
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), rate structures, and profitability scenarios
Monitor client matter budgets, track financial performance, and provide variance analyses and insights to partners
Analyze firm-wide rate structures, fee discounts, and realization trends to identify opportunities for improved profitability
Assist in developing pricing dashboards and tools for leadership to enhance data-driven decision-making
Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices in pricing strategy, reporting, and client value initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or profitability management—preferably within a professional services or law firm environment
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data visualization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with attorneys and firm leadership
