Responsibilities
Partner with the CCO to develop and execute commercial strategies across upstream, midstream, power, and CCUS
Track commercial KPIs and performance metrics; analyze outcomes and identify opportunities
Prepare materials for Board meetings, investor calls, and executive leadership
Lead complex projects spanning sales, trading, marketing, business development, and regulatory affairs
Build bridges across Upstream, Midstream, Finance, Corporate Development, and Legal
Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
Act as liaison and gatekeeper between CCO and internal/external stakeholders
Coordinate with strategic partners, industry bodies, government agencies, and JV stakeholders
Mentor commercial analysts and coordinators
Qualification
Required
7+ years in energy (strategy, operations, or consulting) within the natural gas value chain
Deep understanding of commercial functions: sales, trading, marketing, business development
Working knowledge of natural gas regulatory landscape and commercial contracting
Experience preparing executive/Board-level materials and tracking business KPIs
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet)
Bachelor's required; MBA or master's strongly preferred
Preferred
Consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or investment banking in energy
Prior Chief of Staff, strategic operations, or corporate development experience
Public company exposure (investor relations, Board governance)
Track record in fast-growth or rapidly maturing organizations
