Regional Sales Manager
Talent Acquisitions Group Inc is an Executive Search Firm specializing in finding top talent for various industries. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Water Product Manufacturing sector, responsible for generating leads and closing B2B deals while managing a territory independently.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and qualify potential customers within the target market (foundries, OEMs, machine shops) through cold calling, networking, industry events, and online research
Onsite Sales & Relationship Building: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects and existing clients, building rapport and understanding their specific needs — travel throughout the territory is required
Solution Selling: Develop and deliver customized solutions that address customer requirements, showcasing the company’s strengths in quality, expertise, and delivery
Technical Understanding: Apply a strong understanding of casting processes and materials (e.g., gray iron, ductile iron, austempered ductile iron) to communicate effectively with technical personnel
Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, executing strategic plans to maximize market penetration and grow market share
Account Management: Nurture ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and uncover opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and activities using CRM software
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies
Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and competitive updates to leadership
Qualification
Required
Proven outside sales experience in technical or industrial equipment
Strong track record of generating leads
Closing B2B deals
Managing a territory independently
Effectively using CRM tools to drive growth
Deep product knowledge
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Understanding customer needs
Presenting tailored solutions
Consistently exceeding sales goals in the water well and manufacturing market
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience (10+ years)
Proven track record in industrial/manufacturing sales, ideally with related product experience
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect and close deals
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel extensively within the Northeast/Atlantic territory (occasional travel to other U.S. regions; no international travel required)
Proficiency in CRM software
