Responsibilities
Organize, prepare, and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the tax preparation process
Apply tax rules and regulations to client-specific situations and transactions involving complex issues
Support tax planning initiatives and conduct tax research on technical matters
Prepare and deliver high-quality work products that meet professional and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, both verbally and in writing
Assist with training and mentoring entry-level staff and interns
Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and internal team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA-eligible status required; CPA preferred
Minimum of 3 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm
Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to client service and collaboration
Preferred
Prior 1040 preparation and review experience strongly preferred
Experience with accounting and tax software; QuickBooks experience highly preferred
