Responsibilities
Assist with developing, monitoring, and maintaining project budgets and forecasts
Track and analyze project costs, prepare monthly cost reports, and identify potential budget risks or savings
Support the management of change orders by reviewing estimates, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and validating cost impacts
Review and process subcontractor invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with budget
Provide financial updates to project leadership and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, procurement logs, and submittals
Coordinate subcontractor and vendor activities to align with project goals, budgets, and timelines
Maintain comprehensive project records, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and progress reports
Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related reporting and insights
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery
Assist with final project cost reconciliation and financial reporting
Support closeout documentation, punch list activities, and warranty management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, estimating, or cost management
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, schedules, and cost-control methodologies
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Viewpoint) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Possession of a valid state of residence driver's license with a clean driving record
Daily travel to and from construction sites, generally within 100 miles from the home office is expected
Short term, out of town, assignments may be required
Long term, out of town, assignments may be required, with advance notice of planned dates
May be required to work protracted and irregular hours to meet client's needs, including nights, overtime and weekends
