The role involves owning the full sales cycle, designing pilots that convert, and translating customer feedback into actionable product requirements.

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle: from cold outreach to contract signature; generate your own pipeline
Design pilots that convert: structure pilots with clear KPIs to turn them into multi-year, six-figure partnerships
Be the voice of the customer: translate objections and feedback into actionable product requirements for Engineering
Build the playbook: create and iterate on the process, positioning, and deal execution approach with the founders

Required

Early-stage / 'pathfinder' mindset: comfortable with ambiguity; you can create structure where none exists
Technical selling experience: selling highly technical, data-centric, and/or AI-driven solutions to technical teams
Enterprise deal discipline: ability to create urgency and forward motion in long cycles (healthcare can be 6–12 months)
Have early-stage startup experience and enjoy building from scratch with limited structure
Are comfortable with ambiguity and can create clear messaging, process, and momentum on your own
Have sold technical, data-centric, and/or AI-driven products to technical buyers (engineering, data, ML/AI teams)
Can run long, complex enterprise sales cycles—especially in regulated industries—and keep deals moving through consistent, well-defined next steps
Know how to design pilots with clear success criteria and convert them into paid, multi-year contracts
Are proactive about feedback loops and can translate customer objections into actionable input for Product/Engineering

Preferred

Regulated vertical experience is a plus: healthcare, insurance, finance (providers/payers/carriers, etc.). If not, strong technical sales experience is required
