Responsibilities
Tracking of all F&B maintenance requests and equipment logs
Communication conduit between chefs, managers, admin, building services and thirdparty vendors
Owns the repair of existing equipment including troubleshooting, repair quotes, and scheduling
Identifies and coordinates new equipment purchases and installations
Coordinates staff trainings for new and existing equipment
Manages the F&B departments waste removal in cooperation with third-party vendors and ensures alignment of resort and business unit sustainability standards
Ensure all deliveries are accounted for and delivered to proper venues
Fill and deliver liquor breaks
Credit card reconciliation and expense management
Assist in placing orders via PO and credit card
Ad hoc data collection and reporting projects
Support F&B outlets during service as needed
Leadership: Manage a team of 4-5 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Integrity & Compliance: Comply with Federal and California Labor law in phases of the payroll and employment process; from hiring through termination, as well as all Company policies & procedures
Commitment to Service: Achieve continuous improvement in operational objectives by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
Safety: Establish, implement, and enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as State & Federal laws
Qualification
Required
Effective communication skills, oral and written
Hands-on approach to maintenance related trouble shooting and problem solving
Proficient use of voice mail and phone systems, computers, email and Microsoft Office
Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and allocating resources efficiently to meet deadlines
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Ability to maintain relationships with all levels of coworker, chefs and managers at multiple venues
Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness. Must be able to seek assistance when necessary
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Works well independently and with others
Have a neat and clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards
Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time and use time clock
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, refrigeration, draft systems
Inventory management & Accounts Payable Processing
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
F&B supervisory experience preferred
