Director/ExecutiveSave-A-Bull Rescue of Minnesota is seeking a new Executive Director to provide essential business, legal, and financial leadership. The role focuses on ensuring good governance, diversifying funding sources, and serving as the public ambassador for the organization.

Responsibilities
Ensure Good Governance & Compliance: Lead the charge to keep the organization compliant with all regulations and filings, ensuring we remain in good standing and operate with the highest level of integrity
Diversify Funding: Create a resilient and diversified funding model by significantly growing our individual donor base and developing new, sustainable revenue streams
Serve as the Public Ambassador: Act as the primary spokesperson for the rescue, building the strategic partnerships and community relationships necessary to elevate our brand and advance our mission
Ensure the organization maintains its non-profit status and adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations
Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify revenue
Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with major donors, community partners, and corporate sponsors
In partnership with the Board Treasurer and Director of Operations, hold ultimate responsibility for the organization's annual budget (currently $100k-$120k)
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set, drive, and execute the organization's strategic business plan
Act as the primary liaison between the Board and the leadership team, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on financial health, compliance, and strategic progress at bi-monthly board meetings
Serve as the primary professional representative and public ambassador for Save-A-Bull Rescue
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with other animal welfare organizations, community leaders, and key stakeholders
Represent the organization's mission to the public and potential funders
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership experience in non-profit management, law, compliance, or a senior business role
A successful and verifiable track record in fundraising, with specific experience in individual donor development and/or grant writing highly desirable
Strong knowledge of non-profit governance, compliance, and financial oversight is essential
Commitment to the overall mission of Save-A-Bull Rescue. Direct animal rescue or welfare experience is not required
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent an organization to major donors, partners, and the public
High-level strategic thinking with the ability to translate a vision into an actionable, funded business plan
