Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruitment for engineering contract roles, serving as a primary individual contributor
Lead, coach, and support a small team of recruiters, setting priorities, best practices, and performance expectations
Build and maintain strong pipelines of engineering contractors across aerospace, electronic systems, and related technical domains
Partner closely with business development and clients to understand technical requirements, timelines, and delivery needs
Drive proactive sourcing through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and industry channels
Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for technical fit, contract readiness, and client expectations
Manage offer negotiations, contract terms, start dates, and redeployment planning
Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, submission-to-hire ratios, and pipeline health
Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, client requirements, and internal staffing policies
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success in engineering contract services recruitment
Proven track record in U.S.-based engineering contract staffing
Direct recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, electronic systems, or similar high-technology sectors
Strong understanding of contract staffing models, rates, margins, and delivery expectations
Experience leading or mentoring recruiters while maintaining a personal requisition load
Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
Irving, TX (Dallas area) based
Preferred
Experience supporting government, defense, or regulated engineering programs
Existing network of engineering contractors
Prior team-lead or recruiting management experience within a staffing firm
