OST, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Test and Data Validation Engineer who will provide engineering and technical support for test and data evaluation activities. The role includes developing test strategies and plans, executing tests, and ensuring systems meet defined requirements before deployment.

Responsibilities

Supporting development of test strategies, test plans, test procedures, and test reports

Coordinating and executing developmental, integration, and acceptance testing

Supporting verification and validation of requirements

Supporting test readiness reviews, test execution, and issue resolution

Collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data

Tracking defects and corrective actions

Supporting configuration and change impact assessments from a test perspective

Assisting with Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), operational testing, and training events

Collaborating closely with systems engineers, software engineers, requirements engineers, safety engineers, and program managers to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results

Supporting continuous improvement of test processes

Providing technical recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and readiness

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting test and data validation engineering test and evaluation activities within a DoD, Federal, or enterprise environment

Demonstrated experience with: Test planning, execution, and reporting

Verification and validation of system requirements

Test data analysis and defect tracking

Support to integration and acceptance testing

Technical documentation and stakeholder coordination

Active Secret Clearance

Preferred

Experience supporting training systems, simulations, aviation/ground platforms, or enterprise IT systems

Familiarity with: Systems engineering lifecycle processes

Test management tools and methodologies

Configuration management and change control

Certifications or training in: Test & Evaluation

Systems Engineering or Agile methodologies
