Responsibilities
Develop datasets from diverse sources including RDS MySQL, Redshift, Athena, Excel, and CSV files
Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
Build custom calculated fields to create tailored Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and design robust data models
Apply basic Python coding skills for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks. Experience with DataBricks and PySpark is a plus
Implement and maintain data quality checks and ensure proper data lineage
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues
Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations
Write efficient SQL scripts to create datasets tailored to client requirements for dashboard development
Debug and optimize stored procedures to enhance performance and efficiency
Proficiency in writing SQL scripts specifically in MySQL, Redshift and Athena
Experience in debugging and optimizing stored procedures
Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools such as Amazon Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI
Basic Python coding skills for effective data manipulation and analysis
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including schema design, data modeling, and data integration techniques
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
