Senior LevelOptomi is seeking a Senior SDET / Automation QA Engineer to support a large-scale, data-driven platform modernization initiative. This role focuses on backend processing, data validation, and automated regression testing, ensuring data integrity and system stability as new features are delivered.

Responsibilities
Design and build automated regression test frameworks from scratch using Python
Develop automated tests focused on backend services, APIs, data processing, and system integrations
Validate complex datasets, processing logic, and data flows within a GIS and data-heavy platform
Create and maintain a regression test bed as the platform evolves
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as an Automation QA Engineer, SDET, or Quality Engineer
Proficiency in Python for test automation
Hands-on experience with automated regression testing in complex systems
Experience testing backend services, APIs, data processing, and integrations
Familiarity with enterprise testing tools such as ALM, qTest, or similar
Experience designing scalable, maintainable automation frameworks
Background working with multiple automation tools and frameworks
Experience testing GIS platforms or other data-heavy systems
