Responsibilities
Perform reconciliations of data from other sources to the general ledger for completeness and accuracy of reports
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements by analyzing and classifying financial activity
Assist with capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset reporting, coordinating with multiple departments and consolidating information from across the organization
Prepare and submit required regulatory and census filings on a recurring basis with minimal supervision
Compile financial statements and perform analytical reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards
Support the consolidation process by preparing reconciliations and recurring journal entries, including intercompany activity
Record and reconcile revenue-related and contract-based transactions in coordination with internal systems and reporting cycles
Maintain and update various financial rollforwards and schedules related to assets, liabilities, equity, and other balance sheet items
Prepare standalone and sub-consolidated financial reports for internal and external reporting needs
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in financial processes, reporting, and data management
Collect and analyze global accounts receivable information, assess data quality, and summarize key findings for management review
Provide support for external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and financial statement components
Maintain financial records and post recurring journal entries, supporting periodic financial reporting and consolidation activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance
3-5+ years' experience in an accounting or finance role
Proficiency in Excel formulas, vlookups, and pivot table
Preferred
Public Accounting Foundation highly preferred
CPA highly preferred
