Responsibilities
Runs system replenishment reports, counts inventory on hand, prepares issues and transfers paperwork required to accurately stock all clinical Omnicell and bin areas
Picks stock for issue and transfer to clinical areas
Executes all computer entries in Meditech and Omnicell to complete supply inventory transactions
Competes all “working status” requisitions
Strives to process all departmental requisitions within 24 hours
Delivers all gas tank requests and remove all empty tanks; properly segregate an store empty and full tanks
Works with Inventory coordinator to suggest efficient changes to par areas
Ensures all assigned daily task list is tasks are completed in a timely manner
Assists in the identification, location, and sequester of recalled items in preparation for return or destruction
Performs all cycle counts, physical inventory count, and Omnicell counts as needed
Processes all outgoing mail with accurate postage daily
Maintain rapport with all levels of staff
Helps maintain storeroom, cage and clinical par areas appearance; sweeping organizing area, etc
Performs periodic review of stock for outdates, rotates stock on shelf, inspects dating prior to issuing or transferring stock to clinical areas
On a rotating/pager basis maintains Materials Management crash cart bin drawers, crash cart drawer exchanges and crash cart log update
On a rotating basis picks up equipment in dirty utility rooms, wiping down if soiled and storing in Central Supply room and ENT cart per POB schedule
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of experience
High school diploma or equivalent
