Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries
Prepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correct
Partner with both internal and external auditors
Work with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessary
Ensure that SOX and GAAP compliance is met and maintained
Prepare financial reporting packages for upper-level management
Complete various ad-hoc projects when necessary
Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years' of working experience within public accounting or large corporate environment
Advanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experience
Proficient verbal and written communication
Preferred
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
