Responsibilities

Program, run, and optimize CMM inspections using PC-DMIS (advanced level)
Develop and validate inspection programs for complex aerospace components
Interpret and apply GD&T at an expert level per ASME Y14.5
Support AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) and ongoing production inspections
Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve measurement and tolerance issues
Review customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to ensure compliance
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to dimensional nonconformance
Maintain calibration awareness and metrology best practices in an AS9100 environment

Required

Extensive experience as a Metrologist or Senior CMM Programmer in aerospace manufacturing
Advanced PC-DMIS programming skills (required)
Expert-level GD&T knowledge with the ability to mentor others
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements
Experience with complex, tight-tolerance machined components
High attention to detail, integrity, and a strong sense of ownership
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
